However, if you're from Vellore or Chennai, want to be near your home/home on the weekends and you plan to do Masters in the USA, VIT is better for you.
NIT gives good campus interviews anyday.

You may face challenges in getting a good placement after BCA from deemed universities as Indian IT companies prefers B.Tech and MCA graduates for their software engineers requirement over BCA graduates.
