In my opinion, Thapar is better. But the fees of thapar is very high. If you can afford going to Thapar, it would be a better choice according to my knowledge.

HelloI will suggest Amity university for b.tech because large no. of companies visiting for campus placement rather then VIT university.In VIT only 5-6 top consultancy companies hire large no. of students. There are very less no. of core companies.

for civil in vit ur rank should be under 8000 that means ur marks should be around 40-80 smthng.

Hello Shubhadip. As long as you are asking the question with respect and not trying to mock the professor, nobody can say no to clearing your doubt. According to me, professors encourage curiosity in students. Moreover, they know you are there to learn and asking questions means you are doing things right.
