To pursue B.Tech in VIT, the candidate must necessarily go through VIT Engineering Entrance Examination (VITEEE). The scoring of JEE Mains or marks in 12 th standard alone are not enough to gain admission in B.Tech. Yes, you may qualify for the VIT integrated M.Tech programme with an 85% in PCM. While a good score, admission isn't solely based on 12th-grade marks; entrance exam scores, seat availability, and cutoff scores are also considered. It's a good idea to aim for a high rank in the VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Exam) to increase your chances. While VIT does have a large number of CBSE students, this is likely due to the popularity of CBSE among students aiming for higher education.

When seeking admission to B.Com programs at VIT-AP School of Business, they should have passed their Class 12 (or equivalent exam) in a recognised board with minimum aggregate of 55%. Also, those applicants born on and after July 1, 2005, can now apply in the year 2025. Admission is on a merit basis, based on 12 th grade marks and then there is the Personal Interview (PI). In B.Com the main course offered is in Finance.
