VIT exam for BTech admission is also conducted in 9 cities abroad. The list of exam cities include - Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Kuala Lumpur, Muscat, Manama, and Qatar.

This year, VITEEE exam is conducted approximately in 130 cities and 9 cities abroad. Candidates must enter their choice of city at the time of filling application form.

The last date for VITEEE 2026 registration is April 12. Candidates who want to apply must submit their application form before the due date. No forms will be accepted after deadline.

VITEEE is comparatively easier than JEE Mains in terms of difficulty. JEE Main purely focuses on concepts and fundamentals. On the other hand, the VITEEE focuses more on accuracy. In terms of difficulty level, JEE Mains ranges from moderate to tough while VIT exam range from easy to moderate.

There is no attempt limit to appear for VITEEE exam. As long as you meet the eligibility criteria. However, VIT exam is conducted once a year on multiple dates, and applicants can write exam once in a year.

No, Vellore Institute of Technology does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech admission. Candidates must register and appear for VITEEE exam.

No, admission to VIT Group of Institutions strictly requires qualifying VITEEE exam. Hence, it is mandatory to appear for VIT BTech exam and qualify for it.

No, 75% is not required for VITEEE. The minimum qualifying mark is 60% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry. On the other hand, for SC/ST, Jammu and Ladakh and North-Eastern states, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%.
According to the subject requirement, 60% or 50% is calculated based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. PCB is required for Biotech/Bioengineering.

To apply for VIT exam, it is very important to meet the eligibility requirements, which are as follows-
Candidates date of birth must fall on or after July 1, 2004
Must have completed 10+2 or equivalent. Candidates appearing in final exam can also apply.
Must have a minimum 60% marks in physics, mathematics and chemistry
For SC/ST, Jammu and Ladakh and North-Eastern states, the minimum qualifying mark is 50%
