The faculty at Janatha Education Trust'S Vivekananda institute of technology (VKIT) is pretty good.
Mostly reviews taken from students said that teachers are very supportive and well qualified and capable of making curriculum industry ready.
The teachers are supportive and the quality of teachng is good.
Some teachers hold a Degree of Ph.D.

B.E./B.Tech is the primary academic programme at VKIT. VKIT also has strong established and emerging engineering fields, placement training, industry connections, and practical learning and it makes the best of all possible worlds for students. The total tuition fee for a four-year BTech course at the Janatha Education Trust'S Vivekananda Institute of Technology (VKIT) is around INR 7.4 lakhs. Yes, VKIT is quite recognised within Bangalore's engineering community. It was established in 1997, it is approved by AICTE and has affiliation with VTU. It had an IIRF 2024 rank of 135 for B.Tech and a Bangalore rank of 18. It has good placements, adequate infrastructure and a good academic ranking, which are the reasons why VKIT has gained a reputation for being reliable among aspirants who were serious about engineering.

VKIT also has active extra-curriculum events in a form of IEEE student branch and yearly cultural fest, VIBHIN. On spot programming, robotics and tech quizzes are held through the IEEE VKIT chapter whereas the college aids indoor games and sports, library and student clubs. With this kind of supportive atmosphere, both technical and cultural advancement takes place.

The placement cell of VKIT is very strong with wings, auditoriums, interview rooms, and group-discussions area, and online test centres. The top recruiters are IBM, Oracle, Infosys, Amazon and Mphasis with a median package of around 4 LPA and top packages of around 7,00,000 INR. Training and industry-Institute collaboration factor are also focused at the institute since they are aimed at better results.

KIT usually declares semester exam results about 3 to 5 weeks after the exams are over. For supplementary exams, it's a bit quicker—around 2 to 4 weeks.
