Yes, the board gives sufficient preparation leaves to students for the exams. Students are advised to finish the WB 10th syllabus, and know the exam pattern before the exams begin. They must also solve, analyse and practice the previous years question papers and WBBSE sample papers to be better prepared for the exams. Make notes of all important points while studying and get all the doubts cleared with your friends, teachers etc. This will ensure that you're prepared ahead of time and will help reduce the exam anxiety.

In case you are unable to attend a WB madhyamik board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.

For Class 10th, it is considered to be strict. However, it is said that the checking done by evaluators is linient in comparison to the checking done by them in Class 9, 11 in their schools.

So, if u have covered the entire WB Madhyamik syllabus and your preparation is on point, then you must not worry about the strict checking.

When appearing for the WB 10th board exams, you must feel relaxed and comfortable. Yes, you will be allowed to go to the washroom during the examination but only once and with an invigilator. Students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exams, however, they must know that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.
