Marking done by WB Board is fair and lenient. After the evaluators are done with the checking, the answer sheet goes for another round of random checking by the supervisor, to ensure it's fairness.

Thus, students must not worry about the strict/lenient checking by the evaluators and focus on completing their syllabus and ensuring that their preparataion strategy is on point so that they do not have to worry about the checking.

The WB Madhyamik syllabus is considered moderately difficult. WBBSE syllabus covers a wide range of topics in each subject but with proper study and regular practice, most students can manage it well. The syllabus is designed to prepare students for higher education, so while it can be challenging for some, it is not overly difficult if approached with consistent effort and understanding of key concepts. Students should download the WB Madhyamik syllabus and prepare a suitable study plan. Thereafter, this plan should be followed religiously.

Yes, the board gives sufficient preparation leaves to students for the exams. Students are advised to finish the WB 10th syllabus, and know the exam pattern before the exams begin. They must also solve, analyse and practice the previous years question papers and WBBSE sample papers to be better prepared for the exams. Make notes of all important points while studying and get all the doubts cleared with your friends, teachers etc. This will ensure that you're prepared ahead of time and will help reduce the exam anxiety.

In case you are unable to attend a WB madhyamik board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.
