In case you are unable to attend a WB madhyamik board exam, you will be awarded zero marks in the subject. Eventually, you will be asked to appear for the compartment exam. Thus, it is better to focus and study hard and not skip or leave your exam and pass with flying colours.
The minimum mark required to qualify for the WB 10th exam is 34 per cent. Students who appear for the examination should get above 34 per cent in aggregate to qualify for the Board examination.
The WB Madhyamik sample papers are released on the official website- cbse.nic.in only. Students can click on WB 10th sample question papers to download them. To get them offline, they can take a printout of the question papers and start solving them for better preparation for the exams.

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.
Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

Students need to collect the WBBSE admit card from their schools respectively. and carry it with them on all exam days.

WBCHSE result 2026 can be checked online only. There is no facility to check it offline. The original marksheet needs to be collected from schools.
