WBBSE 2026 Syllabus (Out): Download Subject-wise WB 10th Syllabus PDF

You only need to carry the required stationary, and hall ticket to the examination hall. 

Students are not allowed to carry following items to WBBSE Examination hall:

• Mobile Phone / Earphone/ Microphone
• Calculator 
• Camera 
• Tape Recorder 
• Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator 
• Any metallic item or electronic gadgets / devices 

WB Madhyamik exams are held from 9:45 am till 1:00 pm.  The exam timings were updated in 2024 from 11:45 am till 3:00 pm. 

The WBBSE Madhyamik exams 2026 will be conducted in pen and paper format between February 2 and 12, 2026. The WB Madhyamik admit card 2026 will be released in the last week of January 2026. Students need to collect it from their schools respectively and carry it on all exam days, failing which they will not be allowed to write the exam. 

You can share your solved paper with your teacher or mentors, who will help you know if the answers are correct and can fetch you good marks.

It is always suggested to make notes of all the important points while studying and explain them in your own words while writing the answers. 

WBBSE releases the WB Madhyamik previous question papers for all subjects on the official website. Students can download them by clicking on the link on this page and start preparing for their upcoming exams. WB Madhyamik board exams 2026 will be conducted between February 2 and 12, 2026.

The Board also releases the WB 10th sample papers. The sample papers also share the latest marking scheme. These sample papers make students familiar with the difficulty level of the exam, the types of questions that will be asked, and more. 

The minimum mark required to qualify for the WB 10th exam 2026 is 34 per cent. Students who appear for the examination should get above 34 per cent in aggregate to qualify for the Board examination.

Those unable to qualify the exams will get a chance to sit for the WBBSE compartmental exams 2026. These WBBSE compartment exams will be jeld in June/July 2026. 

The WB Madhyamik sample papers are released on the official website- cbse.nic.in only. Students can click on WB 10th sample question papers to download them. To get them offline, they can take a printout of the question papers and start solving them for better preparation for the exams. 

Solving the WBBSE sample question papers will help students know their weak areas and work on them.

You will need the details mentioned on your WB Madhyamik hall ticket to check your result. Its okay if you have the photocopies of your hall ticket and lost the original one. 

However, it is always advised to keep the documents like WBBSE Class 10 hall ticket secured till the announcement of results.

The board releases the CGBSE 10th model papers only for the students to practice. It gives an idea about the type and level of questions asked. The board suggest the students to practice it for the preparation of exams. However, sometimes, questions from CGBSE 10th model papers also appear in the board exams. Students should practice them increases their chances of facing similar questions in the final exams.

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.

Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.

WBBSE hall ticket 2026 is expected to be released in the last week of January 2026 on the official website. Students need to collect the WBBSE admit card 2026 from their schools resp. and carry it with them on all exam days. 

In case any student loses or misplaces the WB madhyamik admit card 2026, they need to contact their school officials to obtain a new copy of the same. The WBBSE hall ticket 2026 is an important document and students must keep it secured with them.
