Going by the previous year trends, a 30 marks in WBJEE could accord a General Merit Rank (GMR) of around 54,300. With OBC categories, relaxation in ranks is normally large. Although an accurate OBC scoring of 30 marks is not given directly, the OBC cutoffs are usually well below the General ranks. As an illustration, the OBC close ranks of top colleges can be at hundreds for a CSE course and thousands of the others. Thus, your OBC rank would have comparatively been very high as compared with the general rank, and you would have a chance of getting consideration in certain colleges.
