While filling out the WBJEE JECA application form, you will be given the choice to pick the preferred exam centres. The choice of exam cities must be filled in order of preference. As the preferences will be taken into account for centre allotment, the candidates are requested to ensure that they check their order of preferences thoroughly. WBJEE JECA exam centres will be assigned based on the preferences of the candidate and availability of seats at the given centre.

Yes. The candidates are recommended to take up mock tests to be adequately prepared for WBJEE JECA. With the help of the mock tests, the candidates will get an idea of how the entrance test would be. Mock tests will also help candidates gauge their current preparation level. The candidates can recognise their frequently made errors and practice on them so that the same will not be committed in the test. Mock tests also enable candidates to enhance their time management skills.

WBJEE cutoff will vary for the different colleges, courses and categories. Reserved category students are expected to have a lower cutoff than General students. Likewise, popular colleges and courses will have higher cutoffs due to the number of students applying for admission.

No, the students who meet the WBJEE cutoff will not be guaranteed admission. However, they will have higher chances of admission into their preferences. Since other factors will also be considered for allotment, the cutoff cannot be used as a guarantee for admission.

During WBJEE counselling, the students who want to withdraw their admission have to complete it before the last date. If the withdrawal is not done on time, then they will not be able to get refund of the seat acceptance fee.
