The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses. under general category for all India quota was 19169. In 2022, it decreased to 14859. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 19186 to 22100 for OBC, 99214 to 91272 for SC, 107455 to 130612 for ST, 19594 to 16248 for EWS, 838115 to 586341 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for medical education in India continues to grow.

Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:

For last year, the closing rank for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery was 14859 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata.

Calcutta National Medical College, Kolkata cutoff 2022 for MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery other than General category are mentioned below:

  • 22100 for OBC
  • 91272 for SC
  • 130612 for ST
  • 16248 for EWS
  • 586341 for PWD

While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 5519 and closing rank was 14859. Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to MBBS - Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in Calcutta National Medical College Kolkata is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.
