Start CA Course through CPT Route:
Enter into CA Course through Direct Entry through CPT Route.
i. Enroll with the ICAI Institute for Common Proficiency Course (CPC) after passing class 10th examination.
ii. Appear in CPT examination after appearing in the Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 examination).
Through Direct Route:
Eligibility:I. Commerce Graduates/Post-Graduates (55%) or Other Graduates/Post-Graduates (60%)
II. Candidates who have passed Intermediate level examination of ICSI or ICWAI

CPT is objective type examination requiring student to answer 200 Multiple Choice questions (it is similar to MH-CET examination, conducted for Engineering and Medical Profession)

St. Xavier's College Kolkata: Admission, Courses, Fees, Cut-Off 2019
A Christian Minority Higher Educational Institution, St. Xavier College was founded in 1860 by a Catholic Minority Religious body, the Society of Jesus. Affiliated to Calcutta University, the college offers UG and PG courses in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Business Administration, and Education with various specializations. It also offers various professional certificates and Diploma courses with career-oriented programmes. In addition, the college also offers Ph.D. in Physics, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Commerce. The medium of instruction is English. However, candidates coming from vernacular medium schools are offered facilities to improve their skills in spoken English. Admission to the college is done by submitting forms online within a certain given time after which the candidates are called up for the Entrance test (if any) and the Counselling procedure.
