Since you did B.Com as a distance learning course, I will suggest you work for some time so that you know the reality of the job market and the corporate world, instead directly jumping into an MBA college. This will provide much-needed perspective.

For admission to XLRI you need to appear for XAT exams, it happens in the month for January every year. Once you have cleared XAT cut-off for XLRI, you need to attend a round of group discussion and personal interview.
Hope this helps!
All the best!

Hi Sandesh,
Most of the exams take place during the month of November and December. But there are a few exams like MAT and GMAT which are conducted more than once in a year.

Don't leave job for MBA, instead pursue MBA through correspondence from any of the top 10 B-Schools.

Always try to be confident and feed your brain with knowledge of different topics and practice for GD on current topics and past topics of other MBA GD. You can also practice PI with your friends.
The interview covers a wide variety of topics. You could be asked questions about yourself, your past education, your work experience if you have any, your family, your hobbies, current affairs, your views on what's going on in the world.

Asian Business School is not offering MBA, it offers PGDM so first you have to think what you want to opt and if it is PGDM then go for ABS because it's good from my personal experience. You would learn a lot here and the faculty here goes extra miles to help you and solve your issues.
