IIT Varanasi has released the category-wise cutoffs for various BTech specialisations. For BTech admissions, JEE Advanced is conducted widely by IITs. A JEE Advanced rank of 3000 under OBC category can be considered as the decent rank, however, this rank is insufficient to secure BTech in CSE programme in 2024. Other than CSE, the top courses for which candidates have the option to get a seat at IIT BHU are Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering and Ceramic Engineering.

To study Fine Arts in Banaras Hindu University (BHU) under the CUET, you must choose the subjects with proper care keeping in mind the demands of the program. In general, for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) program, creativity, artistic abilities, and knowledge about visual arts are the centers of interest. For CUET, you must opt for a Language Test (English or Hindi) since it is usually a compulsory part for most undergraduate courses. This will help you fulfill the minimum language proficiency requirement. You must also opt for General Test since it tests your overall aptitude, reasoning, and analytical ability, which are necessary for admission to most programs, including Fine Arts. If there is a choice of a Domain-Specific Subject, you may opt for subjects such as Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or any related discipline if offered. This will indicate your interest and basic knowledge in the arts. If not available, you may concentrate on subjects that reflect your creativity and artistic bent, like Design, Drawing, or even History, since it is a part of art history. It's also a good idea to review the particular requirements of BHU's Fine Arts program. Certain programs will have other requirements, including a portfolio review or an entrance exam to determine your artistic abilities. By opting for the proper course combination, you can guarantee you fulfill the admission requirements and are able to depict your interest for Fine Arts. This careful subject selection will establish you as an applicant and favorably boost the chances of attaining admission for BHU's esteemed Fine Arts course.
