BHU Placements 2026: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Recruiters

BHU MCA placement data 2026 is not released. However, as per NIRF report 2026, median package received during PG 2-year placements 2025 was 9 LPA. In addition, 1372 PG 2-year students were placed in 2025.

BHU Commerce department placement report 2026 is not released. Nevertheless, during overall PG 2-year placements 2025, 1372 students were placed and 2983 students were selected for higher studies out of total 4472 graduating students in 2025.

BHU 2026 BSc Nursing admission is based on CUET UG scores. The BHU merit list for CUET UG will be released on the official website of BHU. According to the BHU, there will be three rounds of counselling along with an optional fourth round, if the seats remain vacant. Talking about the BHU maximum cutoff score of the previous year, B.Sc. (Hons) in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology became the most competitive course with a cutoff score of 628.46 for the students belonging to the General quota. 

Banaras Hindu University BTech is offered in different specialisations. It is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. BHU BTech admission is done as per CUET exam scores. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can go to the CUET website to apply. 

BHU has not released placement report 2023 as of now. However, as per media reports, the overall the highest and average package offered was INR 1.2 crore per annum and INR 23.13 LPA, respectively. Yes, Banaras Hindu University accepts CUET-UG entrance exam scores for admission to BA (Hons) course. Earlier, admission to the UG course was through BHU UET. Moreover, only the candidates who have valid CUET-UG scores become eligible to register for the counselling round. The CUET application process is carried out in online mode (cuet.samarth.ac.in). Further, NTA conducts CUET-UG 2024 entrance test. The exam is scheduled between May 15 and May 31.

BHU does not accept JEE Main scores for BTech course admission. The interested students need to take the CUET-UG entrance exam to be eligible for selection. Students who get shortlisted based on exam score have to take part in counselling. The seats are allotted in this round only. 

Any caste, region, religion students can apply for admission to various courses at BHU. Any caste student must fulfill the eligibility criteria and take admission. While selection process, students are not judged basis their religion, they are judged based on their merit. Hence, any student meeting the eligibility criteria can get admission in BHU. BHU does not descriminate people on any basis.

Yes, to apply for BHU BSc (Hons) course, candidates need to register online for CUET-UG. From 2022, the BHU-UET exam is replaced with this exam. Based on the merit of candidates' performance in the entrance exam, candidates are then required to register separately for the counselling round. National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted CUET-UG entrance test from May 21 to Jun 23 and the result was declared on Jul 15.

The total tuition fees for BTech is INR 3.2 lakh - INR 8 lakh at BHU. The total fee includes tuition fee, hostel fee, security deposit, registration fee, etc. Aspirants must pay the course fees to confirm their seat.

No, CAT is not necessary for MBA at BHU. The university offers a two-year full-time MBA course at the postgraduate level. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University (bhu.ac.in) to apply online. BHU MBA admission is based on candidates' performance in the CAT entrance test. The final selection is based on the student's performance in the GD & PI rounds. However, for admission to the MBA special courses of study, candidates can get admission with a valid CUET-PG score. Apart from this, the course aspirants must fulfil the course-specific eligibility requirements as well.

BHU accepts CUET scores for admission to UG and PG courses. The admissions are over within few weeks of CUET counselling. CUET-PG is usually jeld in March whereas, CUET-UG takes place in May. Yes, the BHU CUET counselling process for both UG and PG courses is carried out in online mode. Candidates have to visit the BHU admission portal to register for the counselling process.
