IIT BHU cutoff trend for BTech has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for BTech under general category for all India quota was 897. In 2023, it increased to 1079. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 389 to 359 for OBC, 218 to 284 for SC, 121 to 107 for ST, 125 to 138 for EWS, 51 to 57 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 1073 and 7081. Admission to B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering at IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. No, you cannot migrate from Chandigarh University to Panjab University, Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, any other National Law University as these universities do not allow lateral entry into their LLB, BA programs. There are few rules that need to be follow when migratimg from one college to another in Punjab University.The candidate will submit a formal application for migration together with all necessary paperwork to the Chairperson, Directors, and Coordinators.The Board of Control of the relevant department shall confirm that at least 80% of the course material covered by the candidate in prior semesters is the same as in the course to which he or she is migrating, and shall also review the candidate's whole file. Following that, the department will adhere to the protocol that was agreed by the committee. After receiving admission, the case is transmitted to A.R. [R&SJ, Admission Section with the Dean of University Instruction's consent.Migration from other colleges or universities will only be permitted with due diligence and on the basis of merit. The migration cost, which is worth Rs. 50,000, would be applied to all applicants.
