Hi Jenee, According to expected cut off for M.Sc. And the seat intake, in BHU, you have a very rare chance of getting the admission with this ranking - but I think you should wait till 2nd or 3rd Counselling. Also I am little doubtful if you get through the main campus, might get it in some affiliated college. Seats ate limited - Total 31 seats (16 for General, rest for other categories). .

Hi Sandeep, BHU is an old and reputed University, so obviously has a big brand value which adds to your profile. If you are getting Government college through your UPTU rank then I will suggest go and catch that opportunity and don't even think about B.Sc. But If you have low rank in UPTU then you should opt BHU because in BHU you will get to know lots of things and research oriented knowledge by which you can perceive your career as researcher, teacher. Chemistry department of BHU is one of the most famous Chemistry department of India. Rethink on this and then decide.

BHU is a university which takes admission at a very high cut-off. But keep pace with the counselling process till the end. You may secure a seat.
