For general it is 590+, for OBC 580+, for SC it will be 490+ and for ST it will be 460+.

You have to apply first, and then BHU has its own entrance exam system. After clearing the examination, you have to face the interview round and after that, you can get admission in BHU.

I think BHU is more preferable because:
It is more reputed in India.
There is no political drama.
Faculty and Campus is awesome here.
Learning Environment.
Professors just teach and motivate you to learn (Well not all professors).
