Can I take admission in MBA based on graduation marks or is it compulsory to appear for CAT MAT or XAT?

In order to take admission to an MBA program, there are multiple entrance exams conducted like CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, ATMA, MH-CET etc and either one of the entrance test scores is required depending on the college you're targeting.
However, there is no such compulsion to appear for all the exams for entry into MBA program, but doing so gives you an added advantage and opens multiple options if you want to enroll in top-ranking colleges. Many top colleges have their own exams for students taking admissions into MBA/PGDM program. You will have to appear for the GD/PI round, aptitude tests based on which you may get admission in the college. You may find many good colleges in Pune if you are planning to pursue an MBA/PGDM.

The last year cutoff marks for MAT was 320, which is likely to be increase this year by at least 32 marks. The MAT score above 500 can be good enough for BITS Mesra Ranchi for MBA Admission.
