BIT Mesra has the most beautiful campus.

Placements: BIT Mesra placements are superb, but for our branch, Chemical Engineering, they are quite low. The batch is small, and yet only 30–40 students find proper core placements, which is the sad part of our course. Many organic and chemical companies come for recruitment, but with very small requirements for our branch. For the rest of the branches, though, placements at BIT Mesra are excellent.

Good professors and best crowd. Above-average placements although fees are higher.

Placements: For tech branches like CSE, AIML, and MnC, placements have been good this year. The lowest package offered so far is 4.8 LPA. The highest is 68 LPA. For other branches, I would say the placements were decent, not the best. The average is around 10 LPA combined for all branches. Also circuital branches have seen a drop in both average package and placement percentage, so only choose them if you are interested in studying circuital.

College is good, you can go with it.

Placements: 95 percent of students got placed this year. The top packages are 1.45 crore per annum and 1.09 crore per annum. The average package is 15 LPA- 18 LPA. The placements in the college are decent, with top recruiters including Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Google. Top roles are SDE and also some core engineering.

College is good. Hostels are bad.

Placements: Placements are good/average. There are lots of opportunities on campus. Many companies come to our college. CSE placements are the best, while ECE and EEE have average placements. Core companies are very few in number. There are more and more IT companies. Overall, it is good.

Before COVID, the college was more reputed.

Placements: On-campus placement is almost 70% for ECE. The rest go for off-campus opportunities and higher studies. The highest placement is 55 LPA. The lowest is 7 LPA. The top recruiters are Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, and Reliance. Around 50–60% of students get internships. The top core roles are VLSI Engineer and Silicon Engineer. The top tech roles are Software Engineer and Data Analyst.

Placements: The placement of students in different branches varies a lot from branch to branch. But in circuital branches, on average, 75% of students are placed every year. Similarly, around 70% of students are placed from non-circuital branches.
