Candigarh University offers many choices in CSE, not just the regular Computer Science program. Students can pick specialisations in trending fields like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, Blockchain, Robotics & AI, Internet of Things (IoT), and Full Stack Development. These programs are co-designed with industry leaders like IBM, Microsoft, Virtusa, and Oracle, so the course content stays updated with the latest technology. Each specialisation also comes with certification opportunities and hands-on training in dedicated labs. For example, in CSE with AI & ML, students work on real datasets using Python and TensorFlow, while in Cloud Computing, they get exposure to AWS and Azure platforms. The idea is that students don't just study traditional CSE but also get skills that directly match industry jobs.

Yes, you can definitely go for NCC with CSE at Chandigarh University. There are several benefits of holding an NCC certificate, especially a 'C' certificate, gives a distinct edge to the applicants seeking an entry into Indian Armed Forces as most of the time they are directly sent to SSB without written exams. Secondly, you will acquire all those important skills like self-confidence, discipline, leadership, physical fitness and handling pressure, which go a long way in any kind of career. Moreover, you will have learned some practical skills like arms training, which may support your technical CSE skills, but keep in mind that NCC activities need a lot of time management. One needs to ensure that studies are not suffering.

There are always a lot of activities for the law department at Chandigarh University with some very exciting activities that keep them engaged and allow them to vibe with the legal world. It's not the usual grind of studying; they bring the real world into their classroom. What with expert talks of legal experts such as retired judges, advocates, and others taking legal pros to all levels on topics such as PILs, Land Laws, even the very buzz-worthy subject of the Sabarimala judgment – this is not just a lecture; it's practically an exclusive Q&A where you get to pose any questions and get back the legit answers from the OGs in the industry. They do industrial visits also. There were these visits by the law students to AVON Cycles just to learn how the other side of legal life works in the corporate world. It's actually about learning and networking. They have even organized minority rights campaigns across villages to spread awareness - now that's using your skills for a meaningful cause.

Chandigarh University has gained a solid reputation for its B.E. CSE program, especially because of its industry collaborations and global exposure opportunities. The curriculum is designed in consultation with leading companies, which means students learn what's relevant in the job market. For example, CU has tie-ups with firms like IBM, Microsoft, and Virtusa, providing students certifications, internships, and mentorship. Another positive aspect is CU's global partnerships with universities abroad, so students get the chance to go on exchange programs or pursue internships internationally. On the placement side, the success rate is impressive, and the university sees recruiters from both top MNCs and innovative startups.
