Yes, yes, why not if you have interest in interior design, you can definitely do it whether you are from commerce stream or any other stream. The eligibility is the same for all streams, so no worries. You just need to pass Class 12 with at least 50% marks from a recognized board and you have to give Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET) and you are good to go. The best part about the CUCET is that it provides a lot of scholarships and can make the admission process very simple and easy. Your CUCET score decides how much fee you save. For example, scoring 90 or above means a 100% scholarship, scores between 80 and 90 get you a 50% fee waiver, and even lower scores give you good discounts.Application is super easy. Just register on the CUCET website, fill in your details, and fill the form. CU ensures an easy admission process with great benefits.

If you really wanna build career in hostel, airlines and tourism then B.Sc. (Hons.) in Hotel and Hospitality Management at Chandigarh University is the best choice. The fee is around 83,000 per semester, plus exam and security charges. There are also CUCET scholarships where high marks can reduce fee by 40% to even 100%.The course is more on practical side. It covers food production, front office, housekeeping, event planning and hospitality skills. Students get training and internships in industry which helps later in placements. Jobs can come in hotels, cruise lines, airlines, resorts or corporate hospitality. Fee may feel high, but with scholarship it becomes easier.

Chandigarh University maintains clear rules for M.Sc. Biotechnology admissions, though they are less rigid than in MBA. The basic requirement is that you must hold a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in one of the relevant fields: Life Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Veterinary Sciences, MBBS, Medical Lab Technology, or Nursing. The key factor here is your undergraduate background, students from non-life Science streams cannot apply. Unlike MBA and B.Tech, where CUCET is compulsory, for Biotechnology, CUCET is not required, making the admission path relatively straightforward. However, CU does not compromise on the graduation stream requirement, because biotechnology involves specialised knowledge in biology, genetics, and medical sciences. This ensures only students with the right academic foundation are selected. So, while the process is strict in terms of background and marks, it is not as rigid overall since there is no mandatory CUCET filter.

Direct admissiom to B.E. CSE (Cyber Security) at Chandigarh University is generally not allowed, as CUCET is mandatory for admission. However, exceptions may be made for students based on their JEE-Mains scores. CU offers a performance-based scholarship for top JEE rankers, covering anywhere from 10% to 100% of the semester fee, depending on your All India Rank (AIR). For example, students with an AIR up to 25,000 can get a 100% scholarship, while those ranked 1,00,000-1,25,000 can get 10% off. So, while direct admission without CUCET isn't standard, a strong JEE score can help you skip some steps and avail scholarships.

The answer depends on what you expect from the degree. CU gives an MBA with updated subjects and a focus on real business needs. The programme is designed with help from industry so students can learn what is required in jobs today. It also gives chances to connect with professionals, join workshops, and attend guest lectures. Placements support is also there for students who are career-focused. At the same time, no MBA is a guarantee on its own. Growth comes from effort, practice, and skills a student develops during the course.
