CUSAT offers various Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and PhD courses. Cochin University of Science and Technology Kochi offers admissions to BTech, BVoc, MSC Integrated, MSc, MCA, MA, MFSc, and MVoc programmes based on the scores of the Common Admission Test (CAT). Based on the results of the Lateral Entrance Test (LET), for BTech lateral entrance programmes. Based on CAT scores and an interview procedure, admission to BBA LLB, BCom LLB, LLB, LLM, and MSc Industrial Fisheries is available. Admissions to MBA degrees are based on CAT, CMAT, KMAT, CUSAT CAT, MAT, and KMAT KERALA results, then a group discussion and interview. MLET scores are used to determine admission to MCA lateral entry programmes. Admission to MTech programmes is determined by GATE/DAT results. Admission to MPhil and PhD degrees is determined by DAT results, then there is an interview phase.

The basic eligibility criteria to be eligible to apply for BTech Computer Science is that the candidate must be a Class 12 pass with 50% aggregate in PCM and 50% in Mathematics. Kerala Scheduled Caste (KSC) and Kerala Scheduled Tribe (KST) communities require only pass marks whereas SEBC candidates of Kerala State (non-creamy layer category) are eligible for 5% relaxation in qualifying exam marks. Candidates can follow the steps below to apply for the course:Step 1: Visit the CUSAT admission page and click on New Candidate Registration.Step 2: Fill out personal details and reservations (if applicable).Step 3: Upload a recent passport-size photograph in portrait orientation.
