Yes, CUSAT offers a BSc degree to students. Candidates willing to pursue a BSc at CUSAT have to enrol themselves into the Integrated MSc programme offered at CUSAT. The university offers eight Integrated BSc + MSc courses in the full-time mode. The duration of these courses is five years, which is further divided into ten semesters. Candidates successfully completing six semesters of the programme are eligible to exit the programme with a BSc degree. CUSAT's main campus is located 1.5 km off National Highway 47 in South Kalamassery. The campus is sprawling over an area of 180 acres. The facilities include labs, workshops, Triveni Coffee House, canteens, etc. Cochin University of Science and Technology has a total of 3 men's hostels which include Siberia, Sarovar, and Sanathana and 5 women's hostels which include Aishwarya, Anashwara, Athulya, Anaga, and Ananya.

Candidates aspiring to pursue M.Tech from CUSAT shall have BE/BTech/Bachelor’s degree/Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum 60% aggregate. The selection is further done by the university committee basis on the applicant’s score in the qualifying examinations (GATE/CUSAT DAT).

CUSAT conducts CAT (Common Admission Test) for admissions to programmes like Law, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Marine Sciences, Humanities, Science, Medical Sciences & Technology, and Social Sciences and Technology. CUSAT CAT is a computer-based test. The multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam. Candidates can take this test by applying online through the university website. CUSAT is an autonomous university owned by the state government. CUSAT has been ranked 34 among the top Universities in India and 51 in the Overall category by NIRF 2024. The CUSAT KEAM 2025 was released for admission to the BTech programme for various categories under the Home State quota. According to the CUSAT BTech Cutoff 2025, the last round closing cutoff ranged from 10038 to 66316 for the General HS quota. Among all the specialisation, the top two most sough-after specialisations were BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by BTech in Electronics and Communication Engineering. Aspirants who have passed BCA/ Bachelor's degree in CS/ BSc/ BCom/ BA/ BVoc Data Analytics with Mathematics with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate to Kerala SC/ ST) are eligible to apply for MCA at Cochin University of Science and Technology. Candidates should have relevant documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

The CUSAT BTech Cutoff 2025 was out for all the students belonging to the Home State quota. As per the CUSAT KEAM Cutoff 2025 for the OBC HS category, the closing cutoff ranged from 11609 to 54552, wherein B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most sought-after course with the closing cutoff being 11609 in the last round. CAT is one of the accepting exams for CUSAT MBA admission. There are two types of CAT accepted for MBA. One is CAT conducted by conducted by IIM for admission to MBA programme. The other is CUSAT CAT conducted by Cochin University of Science and Technology. CUSAT CAT is accepted for MBA and other courses except PhD and Diploma programmes. Now the question is, if it is mandatory or not.

No, it is not. Aspirants who have passed KMAT or CMAT can also take admission to MBA programme. Aspirants shortlisted based on the entrance exam score are further evaluated in group discussion and personal interview round.
