There are many opportunities for growth, and placements are consistent.
Placements: Around 50% of students get placed this year. The highest package is at 20 LPA, and the lowest is at 5.6 LPA. Placements are consistent and may increase in the coming years. Most recruiters are from core companies and IT companies. The university now provides placement training from the 2nd year onwards.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, and classrooms have smart boards. Labs have AC, but some equipment is outdated and of poor quality. The university library is really good, spacious, and has AC rooms. Mess and canteen food are average.
Faculty: Permanent faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum changes every 4 years and is relevant. Exams from old semesters are somewhat tough. Students should acquire 40% in semester exams and 50% in total (semester + internal) to pass. Electronics and Communication Engineering classes are at DOE.

Review of Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kochi.
Placements: 80 percent of the total students who pass the exams secure placement. The highest package received is 14.3 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. The average package received is 7 LPA. Companies like Bharat Electronics, Reliance, and IBM recruit students. Every year, we are supposed to do a summer internship, which contributes to our grade.
Infrastructure: We also have a great library with a wide variety of book genres. Our canteen is very affordable and has good food. Hostel facilities are limited.
Faculty: Our curriculum is updated. It is harder compared to KTU. We also have the option to take a minor and an honors. We can take a minor in other branches. Our teachers are highly qualified. Most of them are Ph.D. holders and take their profession very seriously. They keep us updated and help us to be industry-ready. Semester exams are harder compared to KTU. Questions can only be answered by students who understand the concept fully. 50 percent is the pass percentage. The courses offered are good. We also have minor and honors courses, which give us more knowledge. All our teachers are highly qualified and talented. They take their profession very seriously.
Other: I am always passionate about electronics. CUSAT offers one of the best courses in Kerala. Our college also organizes placement training.

CUSAT overview of performance, reputation, and student life explained.
Placements: Around 68% get placed in CSE in the recent year. The average package is around 7 LPA and the highest package is 25 LPA. In 2024 recruiters from Cisco, TCS, Accenture, Air India, Tata Projects, IBM, etc. visit. As for top roles, students placed in CSE typically get software development or engineer roles, system roles, QA or testing roles, and occasionally domain-specialized internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is mediocre, but library facilities are quite well. The canteen in SOE is empty most of the time as none really goes there. Hostel mess food is quite nice with monthly fests and all. For sports, there are courts and grounds, and it is quite active after college hours.
Faculty: Teaching is just what you expect from any other government college. Few of them teach really well. Given that, they are all pretty approachable. Pass percent as per the 2025 syllabus is 40%, and it is required to have 40% in internals as well. Minimum attendance of 75% is required.
Other: There are events and fests hosted by clubs and the union. Daily we have 9 to 4 classes, which is quite a lot considering we are engineering students.

Dissatisfied because of the lack of events and campus life, but teaching and placements are good.
Placements: Around 75- 80% of students were placed, with packages ranging from? 3 LPA to 9 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, IBM, and Cognizant, offering roles like Software Engineer and Web Developer. Around 70% of students in our course got internships, either through college placement drives or external sources. The main internship recruiters were TCS, UST, and startups related to them.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course is good, but not hostel, the boys' hostel is only available for first years, and a minimum number of students are admitted, while others need to look for paying guest houses. Girls' hostels are available for all years, and 3 girls' hostels are available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are well qualified, and most of them have a doctorate too. They also teach well. Some exceptions are there, but still, most teachers are good. As per the 2024 syllabus, the course is highly curriculum relevant. Therefore, many skill development courses are being studied.

The college has a vast ocean of memories.
Placements: This is a reputed campus. It has good placements and facilities to explore. The college offers a promising environment not just in academics but also in sports, arts, politics, fests, etc. It also conducts many workshop events. This help students gain many qualifications for their careers.
Infrastructure: It provides everything you could ask for from a university. You ask for education, you get that. You ask for a library, you have that too. You ask for connections or meeting new people, you definitely get that. You ask for comfort, budget-friendliness, etc. You have it.
Faculty: They are very supportive. The curriculum is amazing. We get to interact with many professors who graduated from top IITs. We also get to interact with many senior students from different states or reputed colleges. Since, our university provides the best research resources.

Other than the contact faculty members, everything is good.
Placements: In B.Tech safety and fire engineering last year, we had about a 100% placement rate, with the highest package being 22 LPA offered by Gail India Pvt Ltd, a median of 7 LPA, and most of the students were placed in the Adani group of construction. The top roles we get after these courses are safety and fire officer and safety design engineer. Cairn Oil and Gas has provided paid internships to multiple students last year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is basic, nothing more than that. The Wi-Fi is good. Labs are also good, and we do have a great university library and okayish classrooms. The hostels are mostly well-kept, and the mess food is awesome. There is a dedicated sports arena for those who are interested in them.
Faculty: The permanent faculty members are really good and knowledgeable, but the contract faculty members are not so much. The curriculum of the course is relevant to the industry. The exams are quite easy to pass, and quite hard to get good marks. The most permanent faculty members are well qualified with published research papers, and all but the contract faculty members are just postgraduate passouts.
