Candidates seeking admission to BCom at Jesus and Mary College must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Following the exam, candidates will have to register for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University. While doing so, candidates must select BCom/BCom (Hons) at Jesus and Mary College as their preferred "Course + College" combination. If the candidates manage to obtain the required marks in CUET, they will be allotted a seat at the college for BCom. If the seat has been allotted to the candidates, they must "freeze" it and submit the BCom fee at JMC (for the first year) within the stipulated time. Candidates seeking admission under the Christian Minority category will have to go through an additional interview round.

From what I know, both Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College and Satyawati College have good placement records, but they cater to different fields. Satyawati College is known for its strong connections in the commerce and management industry, while Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College has a strong foothold in the arts and humanities sector. Both colleges have their own strengths and attract different types of recruiters. It's hard to say which one is better, as it ultimately depends on what you're studying and what your career goals are. But overall, both colleges have a good reputation for placements.

{Source: B.A. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Programs at Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar CollegeThe placement cell of Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar College is considered to be average by many students and alumni. Here are some key points that summarize their feedback:* Limited number of big companies: According to some students, only a few big companies visit the campus for recruitment, and mostly startups attend the placement drives.* Commerce and Economics department dominates placements: Students from the Commerce and Economics departments seem to get more placements, leaving fewer opportunities for other streams.* Placement package: The average salary package offered varies between INR2-3 LPA, with the highest package being around INR4.5 LPA.* Internship opportunities: While some students mentioned getting internships, these are mostly limited to unpaid or partially paid opportunities.* Efforts of the placement cell: Despite limitations, the placement cell makes efforts to connect students with potential employers and provides guidance throughout the placement process.Overall, the placement cell's performance could be improved by attracting more big companies and providing equal opportunities for students across all streams.
