{Source: B.A. students & alumni}Effectiveness of Placement Cell for B.A. Programs at Vivekananda CollegeBased on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, the placement cell at Vivekananda College appears to be average and not particularly effective for B.A. programs. Here's what they have to say:* Limited placements: According to several reviewers, there are no placements for B.A. students, and companies rarely visit the campus for recruitment.* Low placement rates: One reviewer mentions that out of 65% of students, only a handful get placements, indicating a relatively low placement rate.* Average salary packages: Those who do manage to secure placements receive average salary packages ranging from INR1-2 Lacs per annum.* No internship opportunities: Reviewers mention that there are no internship opportunities available for B.A. students, making it challenging for them to gain practical experience and build their resumes.* Limited corporate connections: The college seems to lack strong corporate connections, which may contribute to the limited placement opportunities for B.A. students.Overall, while Vivekananda College offers good infrastructure and facilities, its placement cell appears to be underdeveloped, limiting opportunities for B.A. students to secure employment upon graduation.
