DIT University admit candidates to the MBA programme based on merit in the national-level examinations. The exams accepted by the university are MAT/XAT/CAT/CMAT/UKSEE. Selected candidates also have to go through group discussion and personal interview rounds. Apart from this, candidate must hold a valid bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate. DIT University has always valued merit. To facilitate meritorious students, the University has institutionalized a policy of giving Direct Admission to board toppers for which certain seats are reserved. Students who have scored 95% or above in XII Std will be given Direct Admission to the program.

DIT University provides concession in the tuition fee to candidates pursuing UG or PG courses. 26% scholarship on tuition fee shall be granted to permanent residents of Uttarakhand/ Other Himalayan States for whom 40% of seats are reserved in all UG courses. Merit Scholarship shall be awarded to BTech students on the basis of the percentage of marks obtained in identified subjects at the time of admission and is applicable on the tuition fee of the respective year of study.

DIT University BTech application form was released. Aspirants who fulfilled the eligibility requirements prescribed for the BTech programmes could proceed with the application formalities.
