Placements: Nearly 72-75 percent of BCA students got internships through college or personal efforts. Recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Teach Mahindra, Deloitte, etc. Hire the students. The major roles of BCA graduates were software developers, web developers, system analysts, technical support engineers, database administrators, and IT consultants.
Placements: I am from the BCA Bachelor of Computer Application course at DIT University, Dehradun. The course focuses on programming database software development, and computer fundamentals. Around 82-85 percent of students from the BCA course got placed. Placement opportunities depend on student performance in coding and communication.
Placements: Almost 70 per cent of students who are enrolled in B.Tech are placed from DIT. Overall, it is good that the highest package offered on campus is 44 LPA and the lowest is 3LPA. On average, it is quite decent and top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, TCS, Amazon and lots more. For an internship, they do not provide much exposure.
