DIT University Placements 2025: Highest Package, Average Package, Top Companies

As per the latest research on external sources, we have found that DIT Deradun alumni are placed in top national and multinational companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, EY, KPMG, etc. They work in various sectors such as Engineering, Operations, Business Development, Marketing, Sales and more. Of all the sectors, 37% of alumni work in the Engineering sector. Additionally, 15% and 12% of alumni work in the IT and Business Development sectors. As per the School of Computing placement report, the placement rate recorded for the School was 62.3%. The highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA in 2024. 110 companies visited the campus as well. 

DIT Dehradun MCA placement report is not released. However, School of Computing placement report 2024 is released. As per the report, the highest package offered was 44 LPA whereas the mean package was 6.26 LPA. 

DIT is not a Tier 1 university. It is generally considered a Tier 2 private university. Tier 1 universities are IITs, IIITs, and others. The university is ranked at 83rd position under the Pharmacy category by the NIRF 2025. DIT university has also been ranked at the 21st position by the Week for the year 2025 for B.Arch. 

Aspirants must fulfil the eligibility requirements for admission to a BSc course at DIT University. As per the official website, the common eligibility criteria are Class 12 or equivalent pass in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics (As per chosen specialisation) as mandatory subjects with at least 50% aggregate. In addition, students should have passed in English as well. The qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board.

The university may not offer direct admission as primarily the selection is merit-based. Thus, the aspirants Class 12 scores are considered. However, for the BSc Nursing course, students have to take the DITU Nursing Entrance Test. To enquire about admission under management quota, the students should reach out to the admission office. 

MBA is a two-year course offered in four major specialisations. A minimum of 50% aggregate through Class 10, Class 12 and graduation is required to apply for the MBA course. Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility requirements and submit their proof of eligibility during the document verification round. Any candidate found ineligible during the verification process, will not be given admission.
