DIT University admissions are open. Applicants have to meet eligibility and pass entrance exam (if required) to participate in admission counselling. 1. DIT University Application Process 2026:
The mode of application is online for all courses. Aspirants can fill out the form on the university's website. Candidates need to pay an application fee to apply for admission. The application fees is INR 1,500 for a course. DIT screens the applications of candidates to confirm their eligibility.
2. Selection Rounds:
The university shortlists candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. DIT University Dehradun conducts DUET for shortlisting aspirants for MPharm, MBA M.Tech and PhD courses. DIT also accepts scores in CAT, MAT, JEE Main, GATE and other national-level entrance exams for admission. The university conducts other selection rounds like GDPI or PI rounds for some of the specific courses. However, for PhD who have a valid score GATE / SET / SLET are selected based on PI round.
3. Counselling & Document Verification:
After the completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for merit-based counselling and document verification. Selected candidates need to partial DIT University fees to confirm their seat.
A DD of INR 10,000 in favor of DIT University, payable at Dehradun is only accepted after seat allotment to candidate.

DIT University Fee Refund Policy
In case of withdrawal of admission, students need to submit a form in the prescribed format. The university can cancel the admission of student if he or she fails to pay the applicable fees by the due date or fails to submit mandatory documents. Below is the DIT University fee refund policy:

DIT University Seat Reservation
The university reserves 25% of seats for students from Uttarakhand and Himalayan states including Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura, two districts of Assam namely Dima Hasao and Karbi Anglong, Darjeeling and Kalimpong in West Bengal. The 25% scholarship is offered to these students on tuition fees.
