Hi,
An MBA from IGNOU is fully accredited and valid from the perspective of applying for government jobs or pursuing higher studies. Even though, a lot of government organizations a accept distance education degrees, a candidate may be at a significant disadvantage while competing against other candidates with full time MBA degrees under their belts. Organizations have an innate tendency to hire students from full time programs as opposed to distance learning programs especially in cases where an MBA is the focus. If you want to increase your chances of landing a good job with a public/private company I'd recommend joining a full time programme.

Hi, Since your question is about IGNOU, then I regret saying this but you probably won't have a good chance, since their eligibility criteria states that you need to have worked in the Banking or Financial Sector for at least two years. You could take a look at other institutions where your work experience would be valued. All the best.

3. Majority of the jobs are either mid or night shift and life is completely ruined by it when it comes to personal life
4. Market has reached the top line threshold where it does not require more MBA finance guys in future as most if the companies are automating work. This will reduce job opportunity in next 5 years.
