Eligibility: Minimum 50% marks either in the bachelor's degree and/or in the master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Commerce/ Humanity. The online admission procedure for B.Ed and M.Ed courses usually commences in the month of May/June and ends in mid-July every year. Candidates will be required to submit the filled-in application form along with the attested copies of documents as specified in the entrance-cum admission form. Foreign students residing in India who have a valid student visa for the minimum duration of the programme are also eligible for admission to IGNOU programme. For admission to B.Ed and M.Ed courses, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of marks obtained in the entrance test, conducted by IGNOU Delhi and usually held in the month of August every year. As for the semester examinations, the university conducts term-end Examination twice a year in the months of June & December. The university provides reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, non-creamy layer of OBC, War Widows, Kashmir Migrants and Physically Handicapped learners, as per the Government of India rules, for admission to its various programmes.
