You can give the improvement exams if the university allows you to do so. You can have a word with the admission officials regarding the same.

Hi,
To secure admission to PG programs, the candidate should hold any Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration from a recognised University. Also, candidates belonging to General category should have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in graduation.
IGNOU grants admission to its courses through three methods. The methods being: Direct admission for candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria, admission on the basis of merit, and admission through Entrance Test.
Admission to a majority of the courses is granted on the basis of merit.
A candidate can apply to the courses offered at IGNOU either online or offline. However, a candidate must note that IGNOUs online admission system is activated only for Indian nationals.

Hi Rishab,
You can apply for the Bachelor's degree programme (BDP) at IGNOU which includes B.Sc programme. One of them is Life Sciences. So, you need to select elective courses of life Science or LSE in order to get a degree in that. IGNOU has a credit system based programmes. So, you have to complete32 credits per year and thus 96 credits in 3 years. For the first year, 16 credits will be from foundation courses. The rest of the credits is from your elective courses. To get a major degree i.e, B.Sc. (major) [IGNOU also has another degree called B.Sc. (general)], you need have 48 credits from the subject you wish to major. So, in your case, 48 credits from LSE. Only in the 3rd year, it is decided whether you have a B.Sc (zoo) or B.Sc (bot) where it depends upon the choice of your elective subject.
