IGNOU is a national university. So all cource are recognized course equivalent to regular course of university.
But where eligibility criteria are only regular course are only eligible for apply. At that case one may loose opportunity.

IGNOU is better as compared to SMU, as Sikkim Manipal University is under various controversy like expiry of UGC approval and Franchisee of Education system, which is not allowed. Degree is only valid when university follow
