Hello Nishar Ahmed, Indian Law Institute located in New Delhi and National Law University which is also located in Delhi are major institutes importing teaching of different courses of law. The former is deemed to be university in the government domain where as the latter is in the private domain and is supported by different state governments where these are located to the extent they can but of course not fully. Result of this, fees of NLU are invariably higher than those charged by ILI. The fees for LLM in ILI are INR 92000.00 while in NLU, a student (non hosteler) needs to pay INR 1,39,000.00 Similarly for doctoral studies first year fees at ILI is INR 37,000.00 for first year, while in NLU it is INR 1,50,000.00Thus it can be seen that the difference is substantial in one case and not so substantial in other case, but it definitely is higher in NLU. Best wishes to you.

Whether the LLM at Indian Law Institute (ILI) is superior than the LLM at NLU Delhi is a complex question that is dependent on individual interests and preferences. Both universities are well-known in India for their demanding academic programs and outstanding placement rates.ILI has a minor advantage in terms of general reputation and historical history, having been founded in 1956, whereas NLU Delhi was created in 2008. However, NLU Delhi has quickly risen to prominence, frequently placing among India's best legal schools.Individual considerations like as precise LLM specialty interests, regional preferences, and professional objectives ultimately determine the choice between ILI and NLU Delhi. Both universities provide outstanding LLM programs that can prepare students for successful legal careers. It is critical to perform extensive research, which may be accomplished by checking the official websites of both ILI and NLU Delhi, attending open houses or educational events, and reaching out to current students or graduates for advice. To make an educated selection, examine your personal preferences, professional ambitions, and the individual aspects of each program.

Though 12th marks are really important to get into professional courses like Engineering, in general for offering an L.L.M programme the university checks for whether the student has a Bachelor's Degree in LAW (L.L.B) or Equivalent. It also checks for minimum marks which varies for different categories, for general/OBC it is 50% marks or equivalent grade and for SC/ST it is 45%. And final year students are eligible to apply. If you have good 12th marks its good enough or else need not to worry.

The Indore Institute of Law (IIL) joins over 50 colleges and universities across India that consider CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) scores for admissions into both undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. This widely recognised examination serves as a gateway for aspirants seeking admission to various esteemed institutions in the legal education landscape. The list of institutions accepting CLAT scores encompasses a diverse range, including National Law Universities (NLUs), private colleges, and universities. Notable institutions like Amity Law School and several colleges in Delhi, such as Lloyd Law College in Greater Noida, Geeta Institute of Law in Panipat, BMU in Gurgaon, Shobhit University in Meerut, GIBS Delhi, and The Northcap University in Gurgaon, use CLAT scores as a criterion for law programme admissions. It's worth noting that the National Law University, Delhi (NLUD), distinguished among the NLUs, stands as an exception by conducting its independent entrance examination. NLUD does not consider CLAT scores for admissions; instead, it uses its proprietary entrance exam to shortlist candidates. This unique approach emphasises the university's commitment to a customised evaluation process aligned with its specific admission criteria. CLAT's widespread acceptance underscores its significance as a standardised assessment that facilitates access to a multitude of reputable law programmes across the country, contributing to a streamlined and transparent admission process for law aspirants.
