Indian Law Institute (ILI) offers degree, diploma and online certificate programmes to aspirants in law stream at postgraduate (PG) and doctorate (PhD) level. The online certificate programmes offered at ILI are Intellectual Property Rights & Information Technology in the Internet Age as well as Cyber Law.
ILI Admission Highlights 2023
Aspirants are offered admission in the LLM programme offered at ILI on the basis of their performance in Indian Law Institute Common Admission Test (ILICAT). This law entrance exam is conducted at the national level. Candidates are eligible to apply for admission in LLM course offered at ILI if they have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their LLB degree. Also, aspirants should have pursued their graduation degree from any college/institute/university that is recognised by the Bar Council of India (BCI). After clearing ILICAT aspirants need to appear for Viva-voce in order to secure admission in LLM course offered at Indian Law Institute.

ILI Application Process 2023
Candidates can fill ILICAT application form in either of the modes- Online or Offline.
ILICAT application form needs to be accompanied with a Statement of Purpose (SoP) and aspirants can submit this form either in-person or by Registered Post/Speed Post/Courier/Messenger such that the application form reaches the Office of the Registrar, Indian Law Institute, Bhagwan Das Road, New Delhi, as per schedule.
Aspirants can pay ILICAT application fee online by means of Net banking/Debit/Credit card or Demand Draft (DD). However, for offline applications the fee can only be paid through DD.

Admission Cycle
The application process for Indian Law Institute admissions commences in first week of May each year and ILICAT exam is conducted in August. View ILICAT exam dates here.
International Student Admissions
Admission is offered to students in LLM course who have pursued a Law Degree from a foreign country with minimum 50% aggregate marks or equivalent grade.
Foreign students and NRIs are offered admission in online certificate courses offered at Indian Law Institute. The admission fee for the same is US $100 for foreign students.
