Q:   Is ILI admission merit-based?
A: 

Indian Law Institute accept admission based on a entrance exam - ILICAT for LLM and PhD courses. Admission to PG Diploma can be done on the basis of merit. For PG diploma, candidates must have PG degree in any stream, while Labour Law Diploma requires LLB/MA in Social Science. Also an additional 5% weightage will be given to the Law graduates/ CA/ CMA/ CS. 

Q:   How can I get admission at Indian Law Institute for LLM course?
A: 

Indian Law Institute select candidates for admission to its LLM programme based on merit in ILICAT. The aspirants with a valid integrated law course/LLB degree passed with at least 50% aggregate can register to take the test. The application form can be filled out through the ILICAT official website. Candidates who meet the Indian Law Institute LLM eligibility criteria can participate in the ILICAT counselling to secure a seat. After the seat allotment, selected candidates have to report to the institute and pay the admission fee for the confirmation of seat.

Q:   Can I take admission to LLM at Indian Law Institute without any entrance exams?
A: 

Indian Law Institute LLM degree admissions are based on the following eligibility criteria:

  • A Law degree from a foreign university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade as per AIU Guidelines

The other option is mentioned below

  • LLB degree (with not less than 50% marks) from any university/institute which is recognised by the Bar Council of India to be eligible for enrolment as an advocate in India

Q:   Is there any examination fee at ILI for LLM programme?
A: 

Yes, there is an examination fee for LLM programme which is INR 5,000 at Indian Law Institute. The total fee for LLM is divided into multiple components. A few of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. Check the breakup below:

A: 

ILI Delhi PG Diploma fee includes university enrolment, security deposit, examination fee and tuition fee. The total fee for PG Diploma is INR 35,000.  Below is the fee break up:

  • Tuition Fee: INR 28,000
  • Enrollment Fee: INR 2,000
  • Security Deposit: INR 3,000
  • Exam Fee: INR 2,000

Total Fee is INR 35,000 which must be paid at the time of admission at Indian Law Institute (ILI) Delhi.

Infrastructure: College provide best infrastructure facilities. With twelve blocks and the campus is situated in an area of thirty eight acres. The infrastructure facilities are world class and you will love it once you visit the campus. Ambiance o the campus is just awesome.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly and the curriculum is comparatively simple. Faculty members are knowledgeable and they are always ready to serve students. The management and other college authorities are also very co operative with students. Love the faculty members and campus.
Other: College host many techno culture events. Campus is very green.

Q:   When can I apply for admission at ILI for LLM course?
A: 

Indian Law Institute admission for LLM opens with the ILICAT registration. ILICAT applications are usually released in March. Candidates can apply for the ILICAT via online mode. No deadline has been released regarding the submission of the application form. Once the applications are open, candidates can apply through the official website at iliadmissions.in. Additionally, the ILICAT 2025 Exam Date will be announced along with the official notification.

Q:   Does ILI follow the semester pattern for LLM programme?
A: 

Yes, Indian Law Institute follows a semester pattern for the LLM programme. The programme has two semesters. It will take one academic year to complete. This means that students can finish their postgraduate studies in a period of twelve months. Every semester has several core and elective courses. The semester system helps to give a well-rounded education experience.
