Manipal College of Dental Sciences, Mangalore, offers entrance-based admissions. This means that candidates must take the National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test (NEET) UG exam, which is administered by the NTA (National Testing Agency), and achieve the minimum cutoff rank and marks in order to be admitted to the BDS program. In India, the NEET exam is the sole entrance exam for admission to various medical courses, including BDS. The NEET exam is given once a year, usually in May or June. The NEET exam consists of 180 multiple-choice questions in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English. The exam will last three hours. The NEET exam is given in 11 different languages, including Hindi and English.
