Located in the state of Karnataka, the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka was founded in 1966 and now has over 2,770 board exam centres. The Karnataka PUC board is in charge of holding the annual final examination for second-year pre-university education in March. Each student takes the Karnataka PUC exam in six topics, comprising two language courses and four more subjects from the Arts, Science, or Commerce streams. It is a 2- year course with 4 semesters. Admissions are open for candidates with a 10+ 2+ 3- year Bachelor’ degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks or above from a recognised board or university. There is no mention of any compulsion of entrance tests in the eligibility criteria or any admissions section, however, candidates need to have at least one year of work experience in reputed organizations.
