Your chances of getting into UBS is quite high. For general category their cut off goes to 80+ in CAT. Apart from CAT percentile, you must focus on GD and PI part, as this section carries nearly 50% weightage in overall selection process. All the best.

I will highly recommend that it is worth pursing PGPM from this management school. Athena is located in Powai which is the Corporate hub of Mumbai. They have faculties who are top corporate executives. A combination of classroom and outboard learning helps an individual to develop holistic personality and it is the key area of focus for Athena School of Management. Multiple practical learnings involves Industrial visits, case-study solving, organising dramas; Rotaract Club and many more. They also have guest lectures every week presented by top level executives. One of the unique feature of this school is that it provides multiple Indian and International internships (one internship every semester) which helps in gaining better corporate exposure. Due to small batch size, each and every student is given personal attention.

As a part of course we all had six semester and out of those six we had mathematics in four semesters. I will give my opinion in two parts, namely mathematics and other subjects (theory). Separate because I was good with mathematics and moderate with theories. For mathematics:

What I think is, it totally varies with different exam checking examiner. I was not among those who were good with their writing skills. I used to write answers to the point. Still managed to get passing marks (more than 60% at least). And why I said it varies with different examiners, cause there were situation when I wrote very less in theory exam and got more than satisfactory score on the other hand when I wrote theory exam more than required (you prepared most of those questions in the last 4060 hours) you go straight to the examination hall and fill sheets cause you know that answer (no body can actually stop you from writing).

As a current student in the MBA (HR) batch of 201719, by far my experience with UBS has been amazing. We have a brilliant base of faculty and guest lecturers coming over, with a strong course structure. The class composes of 30+ individuals only to ensure maximum learning. Talking about placements, our senior batches have been placed with good packages (since I'm not well versed with the exact figures, I'd leave it here only). I personally have my summer internship placement with IBM India, with a stipend of Rs. 1.2 Lacs (even more than what constitutes the fee of this institution). Our alumni base of HR specialisation has also been doing great. We hail a good bunch of people forming the alumni board, and some doing wonders in the industry with HR background namely Mr. Harshvendra Soin (Senior VP at TechM) and Mr. D. P. Singh (chief HR head for south Asian region at IBM). I'll love to receive any further queries regarding this course or in general.
