I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about an entrance exam that you need to appear for and pass for admission in lateral mode for an engineering college under Punjab University at Chandigarh. There are certain eligibility criteria which are available on this link and I will advise you to go through them to see that you are eligible from different perspectives before you appear for this examination. https://www.shiksha.com/university/panjab-university/amp/puleet-exam#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s

The minimum cut off marks are 15% for general candidate. Hence in my opinion you have to score more than 60% (216/360 marks) for your admission, because the total number of seats are 40 only.
