If it's CSE or Mechanical go with NIT Hamirpur as it is really good and the placement packages are extremely good in NIT than in SASTRA.

While your +2 is good, you have scored awfully bad in CLAT. 75% weightage is given to +2 exam and 25% to CLAT score. Based on this, your rank in Sastra University would be very low on list. So, you will not be able to get the college.

No, you must have scored at least 80 marks in JEE Mains to appear for the Sastra University counseling no matter what category you belong to.
