Coming to the placements at VIT, Vellore, it is awesome, and even we got a place in Limca book of records in the latest released records. We get more dream offers that is above 6 LPA. Mainly for this branch, we'll have an additional benefit of the post graduation degree in the hands, so we had a great chance of placing in good companies. But it creates the problem when all the branches of VIT like Chennai, Bhopal, and Amravati are dumped in Vellore for the placements, and you can't say hundred percent placement, but worthy ones will have many opportunities. Around 7000 placements are there in VIT, in which they are divided into 3 types, super dream, and regular. The average package is 4 LPA where nearly 365 to 400 students are selected. The super dream offer is greater than 15 LPA and 700 to 1200 students got placed in dream offer with the package of more than 10 LPA. The placements takes place yearly and various companies visit the campus.

Hello,
Well Sastra University is the one among few universities to offer integrated courses. As far as, you have mentioned, you will study 4 year B.Tech course in mechanical and one year in AM. The placement offers offered to mechanical students will be offered to you, the only difference is, you have another year to study. In my view, it is better to opt B.Tech than M.Tech integrated.

Unfortunately, no. The demand for CSE is higher and it requires at least 98.5% marks or above 150 marks in JEE. Try in other universities.
Good luck.

Hello,
Anna University - cutoff (Physics 50, Chemistry 50, Maths 100) convert it into the equivalent and add it to 200 that's your cutoff.
Sastra University stream 1
- total score (70%) + JEE (30%)
Stream 2 -board (100%).

Hello,
The answer is no to your question. A science student can never be an engineer, and Sastra University doesn't allow these kind of transitions in the middle. I wish, you could continue with M.Sc.
