Yes, with an AIR of 209 under stream 1 and 2, you can have a seat for CSE. But it depends on the seats available and the no. of applicants also. You will get the counselling date on June 19 so that you have good chances of getting the course y

Yes, SASTRA University is also a good university for engineering (ECE and CSE). but I'm not sure about the Kumbakonam campus as it is new. The education will be better for sure and the placements are also good, if you get the Thanj

Your chances are very low or nil only. The seats for the second round counselling are updated at www.sastra.edu where only few seats were left especially for EEE and civil. Right now there are no updates regarding the seats at Thanjavur campus

I think you cannot get electronics and communication engineering at SASTRA as it is one of the highly demanded courses at SASTRA which will also be filled at the first go.
So you may try in the counselling but the chances are low.

There are good chances for you to get electrical branch at SASTRA University. You have a good score in JEE as well as board exams. I think you have medium chances only to get computer science engineering (CSE).

For stream 2, till AIR 778 are only called under the first round of counselling. So if you have chances then you may get a seat on the second day but the chances are very low.
