Hello,
While your rank is good, getting CSE or ECE or EEE is doubtful.
You can get any other course and slide into other courses after the end of the first year if you manage to score above 9 GPA.

Hello,
That's a very decent score. You'll be able to get into SASTRA but don't expect to get a desired course. Be open to any course and it will pan out well. You can always slide from your course into the desired course after the end of 1 year

Hello Varthini,
SASTRA University is also a good university for all the courses, but I think it is not better than the top NITs like Trichy, Warangal, etc. So if you don't get a top NIT then opt for SASTRA University.

Hello!
I'm afraid you'll not make the cut!
If you so badly want to get into SASTRA, there is its subordinate campus present in Kumbakonam called SRC. You'll get a seat there. It's practically the same. CSE, ECE & EEE are the courses offered in

Hello!
No, you don't have to write an exam to get into SASTRA university if you're coming in via lateral entry. You'll also be studying the 2nd year directly which is an added bonus.
Diploma students from SASTRA are given first priority.

Hello,
Firstly, you don't need to qualify JEE mains to get an admission in SASTRA. An aggregate of both your board and JEE exams are taken into account and a rank list is generated. You'll be called for the counselling after this.
All the best.
