Hello!
Admission into SASTRA University is based on both your JEE Mains mark and your Board exam mark! Apply for the university and if your rank stands between 500 to 750, you'll be able to get into ECE or Mechanical!

Hello!
Of course, you can! But, you'll have to write JEE Mains to be eligible for the stream 1 selection!
You'll be given an All India rank and admission into SASTRA will be based on the rank that you obtain!

You'll get into SASTRA. But no one can be sure if you'll get the desired seat for your marks. It always keeps changing.
I suggest you take up any course and then slide to ECE after the end of one year.

Hello Bonagiri,
The rank list for all the candidates has been released officially by Sastra University. So, if you mention your rank then I may help you accurately. Also, as per your marks, your chances are medium to get admission there.

NITs would be better than private universities, but not all. Try for top 15 NITs for CSE, if not then go for SASTRA University. You can also try for VIT SRM and LPU.

Hello!
I take it that you've written your JEE exam.
An aggregate of both your board as well as JEE marks is taken into account and a rank list is released. It's from this list that you are called for the counselling.
All the best!
