Yes, you really had good chances of getting mechanical engineering branch at Sastra University, Thanjavur. Your marks in class 12th board exam and JEE main marks are good enough to get a seat.

Hello,
It is possible to change but you'll have to redo the whole 2 years again in SASTRA and SASTRA doesn't offer B.Tech in biomedical. SASTRA leads in biotechnology related engineering courses though.

I think you cannot get a seat at SASTRA University as you rank is not enough to have a seat. The 2nd round of counselling will be held after June 22. It also depends on the seats available. You can check the availability of seats on June 21 an

Sorry to say but you haven't cleared JEE Mains required cutoff. So there is no way to get a good college. You may get admission in any private college on the basis of 12th score.
