You have really low chances to get a seat with a rank of 14000 in stream 2. The first round counselling ends on June 22. So if there are some seats you may get but the chances are low only.

Placements are good. But for power systems, as far as I know, only Tata power used to come. I don't know if they are coming for this academic year.

No, you cannot. The counselling user stream 1 is held on June 19th, 20th and 21th but the AIR ranks till 2000 are only called. So you may not get it unless you have TNR rank.

Yes. With home state quota you can get a seat in SASTRA. You might not be able to get a top or core branch in the college maybe. But you will fetch a seat in some of the branch.

Congrats on your rank. As you have been called on the first day of counselling, you can expect the top branches like CSE, mechanical, ECE, EEE, etc. and you may also get the course you wish to pursue.
