No, there is no placement after B.Com. You can do B.Com from any college but after that you should go for MBA or any other course. If you go for MBA then you should do it through regular mode and from a reputed college.

Its difficult to compare, both are private deemed universities, but VIT has years of service and reputation behind while SRM is a relatively new generation private deemed university.

Yes, there is a hope in Chennai campus but in a lower category. You'll have to pay more fees.

Both are good. But SRM, Chennai has a plus point in terms of placement and infrastructure. And, it is also a reputed private college in India.

You can mostly get civil or chemical engineering. If you wish to go to a better branch then you would have to pay extra fees as your score is not that good enough for mechanical or CSE.

If you are considering only private colleges then SRM is best for CSE after VIT otherwise IIT, Bombay obviously.
