The following scholarships are awarded to deserving students by SRM IST:
SRM IST Founder’s Scholarship
This scholarship aims to encourage toppers in the qualifying examination or JEE exam to seek admission in the first year of BTech. It also encourages outstanding sports personalities to seek admission in Diploma/ UG/ PG programmes offered at SRM IST.
Candidates must have passed HSC or respective degree in regular mode in the first attempt in the current year of admission and meet the conditions provided in the table below:

I get offers from 2 companies, Infosys and Base Automation Technologies. The highest package is 51 LPA, and the average package is 3 to 5 LPA. 90% of people easily get placed. Plans after getting the placement are to work.

Placements: The placement drives that SRM offers are decent. Most students get a dream package, but also most of the students here are placed in mass recruiters like TCS, etc., which give a very low package offer, so the college is not worth the hype technically.
